Welcome to my first packaging project!
This
project started as a school assignment of 3D Image/Packaging. I decided
to make a design for a box of tampons, but soon it turned to be a whole
product design. Based on the concept of the "monstruation", what this
project proposes is that we should not be ashamed of what happens to us
during our periods - the cramps, the mood-swings, the bleeding, etc. So,
by keeping in mind the way menstruation scares a lot of people - and
not only men - I chose a few classic monsters and turned them into
different boxes.
Inside
each box there are a few tampons, snacks, herbal tea and an emergency
chocolate package, just in case. The Vamp has cranberries and a herbal
tea for abdominal pain and blotting, the She-Wolf packs a few salty
pizza snacks and a soothing tea, and the Zombie Grrrl one includes jelly
worms and a ginger tea for energizing purposes. You can see the whole

I
designed this whole packaging with mostly humor in mind. That explains
why the tampons get made into silver bullets, the menstrual cup is the
Holy Grail and the pads are battery packs. Also, each herbal tea got a
custom design: Blood Bags for the Vamp, Aconite Powder for the She-Wolf
and Reanimator Serum for the Zombie Grrrl.
The
snacks were the simplest thing to make, just a sticker with the name.
Also, I designed the Emergency Gravestone as the chocolate package.
